Welcome

This exhibition was conceived in 2009 as a response to a request to mount a faculty exhibition to showcase the work being produced by the faculty of the Painting Department at the Savannah Campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design. The resulting exhibition includes full time faculty, part time faculty, and visiting artists who were involved with the department during the 2008/2009 academic year.

Rather than schedule a show at a local gallery it was suggested that we attempt to find an international venue. The resulting schedule is more then we could have hoped for. This exhibition would not have happened were it not for the work of Blazo Kovacevic. His drive and determination has given us this remarkable opportunity.

Important information / clarification

All work is due by March 5 to Alexander. Any special arrangements from the participants not residing in Savannah will be discussed with me individually.

Work will be hand delivered by all participants on the Savannah campus to the second floor of Alexander Hall (studio to be determined)

All work will be reviewed by our curator, selections will be made, and the work will be photographed by our photographers for the catalog.

Once the work is photographed the pieces will be prepared for packing. The exact process fro this has yet to be determined but this is scheduled to happen between March 7 - 12. There will be an update on this process as the time nears.

One last reminder, if you haven't done so, please send your resume, bio, etc. as requested by the February 19 deadline.
